Do you love math? Would you like to inspire students to feel confident with their math skills? Then Sylvan has a job for you. Sylvan Learning Center on the east side of El Paso is currently hiring math teachers for part-time positions.  Applicants must be able to teach high school-level math. The position is also available for teachers that can teach high school level Chemistry and Physics. As a Sylvan instructor: * You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given tools to teach in a small group setting, 3:1 * You will provide personalized instruction in math based on the student’s need * Opportunities are available for instructors with Sylvan’s SAT/ACT Prep programs * Flexible afternoon and evening hours and Saturday morning hours Requirements: * Bachelor Degree in the math-related area preferred * Ability to teach high school level math * Experience working with students * Positive attitude and ability to develop rapport with students of all ages * Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays
