Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Quality Assurance (QA) professional to support our QA team during an anticipated increase in production. This is a dynamic and flexible role that offers the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of quality assurance, including lab support, production QA, and quality system implementation.
Responsibilities
+ Perform QA tasks related to production, including batch record review and documentation.
+ Support laboratory operations as needed, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
+ Assist in the implementation and rollout of a new Quality Management System (QMS).
+ Collaborate closely with a tight-knit QA team to maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
+ Participate in flexible, phased training with support from experienced team members.
Essential Skills
+ Data entry and document control skills.
+ Experience in quality assurance and batch record review.
+ Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
+ Technical or scientific degree is preferred.
+ Proficiency in technical writing and quality control.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or related field) preferred.
+ Relevant QA experience considered in lieu of degree.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
+ Previous experience in a QA or laboratory setting is a plus.
Work Environment
This position operates within a GMP manufacturing facility. The role is flexible, with the majority of time spent in production, alongside some time in the laboratory and at a desk for document review.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
