Assistant SuperintendentJob Description

The Assistant Superintendent will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered to clients on schedule and within budget. This position involves managing relationships with owners, vendors, subcontractors, and colleagues. Our company specializes in both new construction and interior renovations, covering embassies, multi-family, commercial, and interior fit-outs. Upcoming projects include a hospital and a school.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure project delivery on schedule and within budget.

+ Manage relationships with owners, vendors, subcontractors, and colleagues.

+ Oversee new construction and interior renovation projects, including embassies, multi-family, commercial, and interior fit-outs.

+ Supervise and lead teams effectively.

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Essential Skills

+ 5-15 years of General Contractor Superintendent experience in commercial construction, including new construction, interiors, and multi-family projects.

+ 5+ years in the construction industry with a proven track record of progressing from Assistant Superintendent to Superintendent.

+ Experience in construction management and supervision.

+ Client-facing experience with potential contacts in the industry.

+ Ability to train and develop team members.

Capability to handle challenges and resolve issues professionally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Leadership experience in subcontractor management and project management.

+ OSHA 30 certification.

+ Willingness to attend office meetings as needed.

+ Not afraid to roll up sleeves and perform hands-on work.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and deadline-oriented, requiring a high level of ownership for tasks and errors. The culture in the office and on-site is collaborative and team-focused, with everyone working closely together to ensure efficient and high-quality project completion. On-site presence is required as needed, and office attendance is necessary for meetings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $56.00/hr.
