    Job Title: Designer

    Job Description

    This role involves mastering AutoCAD and taking full ownership of facility layouts for multiple high-volume automated pharmacies and office facilities.

     

    You will collaborate with operations and capacity planning teams to draft facility concepts that align with state-of-the-art processes and equipment.

     

    Additionally, you will prepare Requests for Proposal with pharmacy automation vendors for expansion and efficiency needs and manage vendor selection while collaborating closely with partners, operations, facilities, and IT on detailed project planning.

     

    The role also includes overseeing facility modification installations and collaborating directly with operations leadership on cost estimation and building pharmacy capital budgets.

     

    Designing office spaces, automation, and detailed engineering are key components of this hybrid role, which requires significant travel during project go-live periods, followed by reduced travel.

    Responsibilities

    + Master AutoCAD and take ownership of facility layouts for automated pharmacies and office facilities.

    + Collaborate with operations and capacity planning teams to draft facility concepts.

    + Prepare Requests for Proposal with pharmacy automation vendors for expansion and efficiency needs.

    + Manage vendor selection and collaborate closely with partners, operations, facilities, and IT on project planning.

    + Oversee facility modification installations.

    + Travel extensively during project go-live periods, followed by reduced travel.

    + Collaborate with operations leadership on cost estimation and capital budgeting.

    + Design office spaces, automation, and detailed engineering.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D or 3D) with over 5 years of experience.

    + Experience in facility layout and new equipment location drafting.

    + Coordination of equipment relocation and installation.

    + Project planning and coordinating.

    + Utilities delivery engineering.

    + Project management.

    + Capital planning and budgeting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree preferred.

    + Experience with network drops and ensuring IT installation.

    + Vendor selection, requests for quotation, and bidding.

    + Familiarity with software and hardware.

    + Process engineering knowledge.

    Work Environment

    This position is part of a retail pharmacy operation specializing in convenient, direct-to-home prescription delivery for patients. The workspace is designed as an office-style environment, featuring multiple stations and integrated conveyor systems to support streamlined packaging and fulfillment processes. The role requires travel to locations including New Jersey, Texas, California, and Colorado, primarily within the first few months, with travel expenses covered.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
