Job Title: Environmental Geologist (PG)Job Description
This full-time remote position offers an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Geologist to engage in environmental consulting, conduct field work, analyze groundwater and soil samples, and apply geology knowledge for site assessments and remediation.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct field work and environmental consulting to assess and remediate sites.
+ Analyze groundwater and soil samples to determine environmental impact.
+ Utilize geology knowledge for comprehensive site assessments.
+ Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings effectively.
+ Carry out Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in field work and environmental consulting.
+ Experience in analyzing groundwater and soil samples.
+ Strong knowledge of geology for site assessments.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing.
+ Experience with Phase I and Phase II assessments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Skills in geotechnical and environmental engineering.
+ Experience in construction and geotechnical engineering is beneficial.
+ Field sampling and remediation expertise.
Work Environment
This is a remote role suitable for candidates in the Philadelphia/NJ area. The organization specializes in fuel tank installations and removals, asbestos inspections and abatement, lead testing services, and environmental phase I, II & III services for commercial properties.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
