The Biomedical Technician will be a highly proficient and quality-focused producer of Pre-Operative Plans. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to their production efforts to meet team and department production targets.

Responsibilities

+ Enter segmentation request data into the database.

+ Review CT Scans for conformity to required protocol.

+ Segment CT Scan Data using specialized software to create 3D Anatomical Bone Models.

+ Create Pre-Operative Surgical Plans for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Arthroplasty.

+ Review CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection, and implant sizing and positioning.

+ Upload completed Pre-plans to field-based personnel.

+ Document all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures.

+ Follow work instructions exactly to deliver consistent output.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in medical terminology, biology, biological sciences, and biomedical engineering.

+ Experience as a Medical Scribe or in Graphics Design.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Minimum of 2 years of work experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

+ Experience in Salesforce or Materialize MIMICS is preferred.

+ Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is considered a plus.

+ Certification or related experience in Radiology (CT, X-Ray, MRI) is preferred.

+ Certification in Nursing or related field is advantageous.

+ Completion of college-level anatomy course.

+ Demonstrated customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Efficient work methods and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This is an onsite, office-based position. The standard working hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.65 - $17.65/hr.
