• Field Technician

    Actalent (Woodbury, MN)


    We are currently hiring a Field Technician to join our team in Woodbury, MN. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in plumbing or drain cleaning.

     

    Starting Pay: $24.00 – $25.00/Hour. Frequent overtime available at 1.5x rate.

    Responsibilities:

    + Travel to different job sites in the metro area to inspect areas prior to reconstruction.

    + Utilize instruments and equipment to detect underground sewer systems and water piping.

    + Mark locations of underground utilities on the ground and within software programs.

    + Complete accurate locates within required deadlines

    + Collaborate with the office team to ensure accurate updates of maps and blueprints.

    Qualifications:

    + Previous experience in plumbing or drain cleaning.

    + 0-1 years of experience in surveying or locating.

    + Previous experience working with blueprints or maps.

    + Previous experience working in a field-based / outdoor capacity preferred.

    + Comfortable working outside in different weather conditions.

    + Valid Driver’s License.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Willingness to travel – this position may require a three week stretch of out of state work once every 4-5 months.

    + Willingness to work overtime.

    Work Environment:

    + This role involves driving to locations around the metro area. The Field Technician will ride with another team member to job sites and work collaboratively on projects. The workday typically starts at the Woodbury office around 7:00am, though start times may vary depending on the site location. Must be comfortable working in various environments and conditions.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
