Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to lead a $10M healthcare construction project in Alexandria Bay, NY. This role involves managing all aspects of the build, ensuring quality and timely completion while coordinating effectively with subcontractors and project managers.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and manage the construction project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

+ Develop and maintain three-week schedules and look-ahead plans.

+ Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality work and compliance with project specifications.

+ Report directly to the Project Manager on-site, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise.

+ Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed on the construction site.

Essential Skills

+ A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with experience in healthcare projects.

+ Proficiency in subcontractor management and a strong understanding of OSHA 30 safety standards.

+ Ability to create and manage project schedules effectively.

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to travel to various project locations as needed, including upstate New York areas such as Ithaca, Binghamton, and Rochester.

+ Experience in renovations and additions to existing structures is advantageous.

+ Adept at working in a team environment and fostering strong professional relationships.

Work Environment

The position is based on-site in a trailer, providing an opportunity to work closely with project teams and manage site operations directly. Candidates should be comfortable with an active construction environment and adaptable to changing project needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
