Job Title: UX Product Designer
Job Description
Join our multidisciplinary UX team dedicated to enhancing user experiences for customer and employee-facing applications. In this role, you will work within a cross-functional team to influence product and design decisions, owning initiatives from inception through implementation. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in interaction and visual design, information architecture, user research, and UX strategy. The position can focus on delivering value to product teams or scaling design across the enterprise through Design Operations.
Responsibilities
+ Influence outcomes and product owner decisions using UX best practices, design principles, and research within agile methodologies.
+ Collaborate with developers to implement effective and efficient solutions.
+ Collect, analyze, and present feedback, managing changes to UX deliverables.
+ Present work clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.
+ Provide timely status updates on all products, including work left to do, issues, and risks.
+ Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure work completion.
+ Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences adhering to design standards and system patterns.
+ Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes considering systems thinking and information architecture.
+ Create research strategies based on desired outcomes and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
+ Regularly formulate and test hypotheses during design iterations.
+ Utilize research techniques to determine ease-of-use and comprehension of designs and ideas.
Essential Skills
+ Strong skills in Figma are essential.
+ Ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
+ Capability to manage complex products and stakeholder groups.
+ Experience in creating amazing designs.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or related discipline.
+ 3 years of experience as a UX practitioner in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
+ Experience collaborating with developers from inception through implementation in an agile environment.
+ Proficiency in remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices and platforms.
+ Experience with emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Spatial Computing.
+ Responsive, adaptive, and accessible design experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or related discipline.
+ 5+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with experience in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
+ Experience in Accessibility: WCAG 2.0+ AA compliance, localization, inclusive design.
+ Mobile app design experience for iOS and Android.
+ Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools (Adobe CC, etc.).
+ Advanced analytical skills for complex data problems.
+ Strong organizational skills to intelligently build flows and wireframes for complex applications.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite (Tuesday to Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
