    Position: Youth Peer Advocate - Niagara County

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Are you passionate about supporting youth who are working through emotional or behavioral challenges? New Directions is hiring a Youth Peer Advocate in Niagara County! You’ll work directly with young people to build confidence, develop skills, connect them with supports, and co-lead peer support groups. If you’ve been there yourself and you are between the ages of 18–30, we’d love to hear from you! This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

    Pay and Benefits

    + 3 weeks of paid time off your first year, not including an additional 13 agency holidays

    + Access to life, dental, and medical insurance

    + 401k with up to 3% agency matching

    + $17.33 - $18.39/hr your first year

    + Flexible Monday - Friday schedule, with some day and evening availability required

    + Join our company, where over 30% of our staff have been with us for 10 years or more

    Minimum Education and/or Professional Qualifications/Skills

    + You must be an individual 18 to 30 years old who has self-identified as a person who has first-hand experience with, emotional (mental health), behavioral challenges, and/or co-occurring disorders(required)

    + A high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred, or a State Education Commencement Credential (e.g. SACC or CDOS)(required)

    + A valid driver’s license(required)
