We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Ultrasound Coordinator to join our Imaging Services team and help us continue our mission of excellence in patient care.
What You’ll Do
As the Ultrasound Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting diagnostic and interventional ultrasound services across a variety of clinical specialties. Working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, Director, and Manager, you will:
+ Perform and oversee high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with professional standards and facility protocols.
+ Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to ultrasound technologists and support staff.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
+ Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support 24/7 patient care.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Training:
+ Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
Licensure & Certifications:
+ Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in ultrasound.
+ BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
+ Leadership or coordination experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
+ Proficient in operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
+ Familiarity with PACS and hospital computer systems preferred.
Soft Skills:
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to lead with professionalism, diplomacy, and a team-first mindset.
+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
