St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our collaborative OB/GYN team in Amsterdam, NY. This full-scope midwifery position provides comprehensive care to women throughout the lifespan, including gynecologic care, prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow-up. As a trusted member of the women's health team, you’ll work alongside OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses to deliver personalized, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Highlights:
+ Full-time, hospital-employed position.
+ Provide comprehensive maternity care including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
+ Join a collaborative, mission-driven OB/GYN team supported by midwives, physicians, nurses, and educators
+ Work in a patient-focused environment where midwifery care is respected and encouraged
Responsibilities:
+ Perform annual exams, gynecologic screenings, and wellness visits
+ Provide physical examinations and pre-conception support
+ Manage pregnancies from prenatal through postpartum
+ Attend and manage labor and deliveries in the hospital setting
+ Evaluate and treat common health concerns within scope
+ Offer perimenopausal and postmenopausal care and counseling
+ Conduct hospital rounds, consults, and discharge planning
+ Collaborate and refer to OB/GYN physicians and specialists as appropriate
+ Engage in patient education and public health outreach initiatives
Qualifications:
Required Credentials - Licensed as a Midwife in the State of New York OR Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York with significant OB/GYN experience
Preferred Experience – Experience in a full-scope women’s health or midwifery role preferred.
Skills - Strong interpersonal skills and clinical judgment.
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Base Salary Range - $120,000 - $135,000
+ Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus
