Position: HR ManagerReports to: CAO/CIO/SVPStatus: Full-time/ Exempt
Yearly Salary: $90K - $100K
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to:• Serve as the primary point of contact for HR strategy and departmental development.• Lead the planning and execution of HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.• Promote and model a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.• Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES- include and are not limited to:• Lead and oversee the HR team, including the HR Administrator, Benefits Administrator, Payroll Administrator, EmployeeRelations Manager, and Recruiter, ensuring alignment with company goals and HR best practices.• Provide strategic direction for core HR functions including employee engagement, workforce planning, organizationaldevelopment, and HR compliance.• Coordinate and guide the work of direct reports, offering support, feedback, and development to ensure effective execution ofday-to-day HR operations.• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, advising on HR matters related to organizational structure, policy development,talent strategy, and change management.• Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations; update and interpret company policies and proceduresas needed.• Support cross-functional HR initiatives such as succession planning, internal communications, and culture-building programs.• Utilize HR data and metrics to make informed decisions, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in HR practices andemployee experience.• Serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive HR issues that require higher-level input or decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- include and are not limited to:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required;Master’s degree preferred.• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.• Experience overseeing or partnering closely with functions such as benefits, recruiting, and employee relations.• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.• Proven ability to build relationships, influence across levels, and drive people-focused initiatives.• Proficient with HR systems and comfortable using data to guide decisions.• [Preferred] HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
