Job description:

Interview Type:Either Webcam Interview or In Person Skype *** Very long term project; initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4+ years ***Hybrid***

Short Description:

Under the direction of a data architect, this position will conduct data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the States DMV data.

Description:

Expected Skills: Able to work in a team environment as well as without assistance; can provide input and feedback to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.

Description (including, but not limited to):

+ Data analysis and database management

+ Designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning

+ Creation of requirements for database, database schema, data maps, ERDs, application objects (i.e., tables, indexes, views, etc.)

+ Creation of data rules to identify areas for data cleansing

+ Conducting data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the States DMV data

Required Skills

+ Understand data structures and schemas, and implementing appropriate indexes 3 Years

+ Able to create logical and physical models of data to represent relationships and ensure data integrity 5 Years

+ Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) 3 Years

+ Understanding of the process of extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a database 5 Years

+ Use of at least one data cleansing tool 2 Years

+ Able to create and execute test cases 5 Years

+ Must meet deadlines and manage multiple streams of work 5 Years

Highly Desired Skills

+ Able to identify and resolve issues within the data cleansing process 3 Years

+ Able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non technical audiences 3 Years

+ Able to dissect complex problems and derive insights from large datasets 3 Years
