Currently hiring for an **IMMEDIATE** opening for a Shop helper, located in **Souderton, PA** for a **FULL TIME** opportunity! The shop helper will be responsible for finishing aluminum and stainless steel materials, using various hand and power tools, and being able to follow instructions. A general mechanical aptitude, some type of experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment, and wanting to expand skills and be crossed trained will be required for this role. This is a LONG TERM and FULL TIME position so a strong attendance and reliability will be required for this role.

Pay: $17-19/hr base don experience

Shift: 7am-330pm (Monday- Friday)

Responsibilities

+ Utilize a specialized technique to ensure surfaces are aligned.

+ Straighten aluminum parts to maintain precise measurements.

+ Apply honing techniques for finishing aluminum parts.

+ Insert stainless steel threaded materials into aluminum blocks.

+ Ensure a smooth finish by inserting metal parts into a tumbler.

+ Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Essential Skills

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Machine shop experience.

+ Ability to use basic hand tools.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
