    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    The maintenance mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of complex machinery during third shift hours. This position requires a dedicated professional to perform preventive maintenance and occasional brake-fix tasks, primarily during Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7 AM shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on complex machinery, often requiring an entire shift.

    + Participate in brake-fix work, diagnosing issues such as jams and planning repair strategies.

    + Engage in mechanical and electrical work, utilizing troubleshooting skills to find solutions.

    + Collaborate with the team to maintain operational efficiency and machine reliability.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years prior industrial maintenance experience.

    + Solid foundation in electrical systems, including series vs parallel circuits, estop systems, and limit switches.

    + Strong mechanical expertise.

    + Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and coachability.

    + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience.

    + Prior experience with extrusion, key foam, or Getecha (grinding) machines.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Leominster, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $74880.00/yr.
