Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

The Production Line Assistant plays a key role in supporting the efficient and safe operation of the production line. This position is responsible for visually inspecting products, ensuring proper palletizing, assisting with quality control, feeding the machine with proper material, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Visually inspect finished products for damage or non-conforming conditions.

+ Ensure cartons are correctly stacked and placed on pallets according to company standards.

+ Identify and place off-quality cartons on the designated waste pallet for operator review.

+ Assist the Operator in producing quality cartons that meet customer specifications at optimal line speeds.

+ Report any unsafe conditions immediately to the Operator, Team Lead, or Shift Supervisor.

+ Support clean-up and troubleshooting efforts during machine downtime.

+ Perform additional production-related duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor, picking, packing, assembly, and warehouse packing.

+ Ability to operate RF scanner and perform quality inspection.

+ Entry-level general production skills.

+ Forklift operating skills.

+ Proficiency in machine operation and material handling.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in warehouse operations.

+ Skills in light assembly.

+ Proficiency in palletizing.

+ Experience with RF scanner technology.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large, clean, climate-controlled facility equipped with state-of-the-art production machines and safety markers throughout the facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitsett, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.83 - $16.83/hr.
