    NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION:

    Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility.

     

    NEDHSA is a designated approved National He alth Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.

     

    + 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.

     

    (Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year).

    Minimum Qualifications

    A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR

    A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.

    Job Duties and Other Information

    Job Duties:

    Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.

     

    Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases by completing initial biopsychosocial assessments, annual reassessments, ASIs, and all assigned screening tools in accordance to NEDHSA policy.

     

    Attends in-services trainings for staff and completes required trainings, in a timely manner while assisting with the collections of TOMS and QOC surveys, as assigned.

     

    Completes written and electronic records with concurrent documentation.

     

    Serves as backup to treatment, medical, and support staff at NEDHSA's clinics as needed. Additional duties may be required as assigned by supervisor and/or appointing authority.

    This position is located at Tallulah Behavioral Health Clinic and the incumbent provides both supervisory and clinical services. The position requires a knowledge of supervisory practices and appropriate clinical interventions as the incumbent is expected to direct, plan, and implement the programs serving the outpatient needs of the consumers through the region's behavioral health clinic. Licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is preferred.
