    Job Title: Packaging Operator - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team dedicated to producing high-quality sweet potato chips fried in avocado oil, free of the top 9 most common allergens in foods. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and operating high-speed packaging machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, and maintaining our high standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate high-speed packaging machines to produce chip bags.

    + Oversee various operations including Alpma machines, brine systems, and filling forms.

    + Perform minor troubleshooting to identify and resolve machine stops or jams.

    + Manage and operate specific machinery in the production line.

    + Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures.

    + Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and management.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in machine operation.

    + Experience in high-speed manufacturing and packaging machines.

    + Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

    + Ability to set up machines and perform changeovers.

    + Basic troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with filling machines.

    + Proficiency in adjusting feeds and speeds.

    + Good communication skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Enjoy a clean, temperature-controlled facility that smells like French fries. Adhere to GMP standards including wearing a hair net, beard net, smocks, hard hat, and steel-toed shoes.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
