    Machine Operator - 2nd Shift $18hr-$19hr

    Job Description

    Aerotek is seeking experienced machine operators for a manufacturing company in Olive Branch. These positions require previous experience operating production machinery.

    Responsibilities

    + Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading engineering drawings and other specifications.

    + Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.

    + Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.

    + Closely monitor the machines while they execute tasks, making necessary adjustments to produce a better result.

    + Inspect and measure the finished products, comparing them with requirements to ensure the process has been completed properly.

    + Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation and general production.

    + Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine safety checks.

    + Experience with machine setup and changeovers.

    + Ability to monitor machines and perform quality checks.

    + Ability to set up for part manufacturing according to specifications.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm, in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $52000.00/yr.
