    This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, staff position.

     

    Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Associate’s degree or higher.

    + Two (2) years of work experience in athletic programs.

    + Demonstrated computer skills, organizational skills, time management skills.

    + Work evening and / or weekends as needed.

    + A valid driver’s license required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    + Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, and handle or feel objects and controls.

    + Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment such as, but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, coper, and fax machine. Must be capable of standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, pushing, and pulling within the scope of assigned duties.

    + The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to maintain focus.

    + Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive motor vehicle locally and out of town.

    Job Specification

     

    This position is to assist with the athletic coaching for the Baseball team at BPCC. This position will provide athletic coaching and managing all aspects of the team and game events for successful outcomes.

     

    Job Duties and Other Information

    Assistant Baseball Coach:

    + Assist with managing all responsibilities of the baseball program including planning, coaching, travel and recruiting.

    + Manage equipment, supplies and apparel inventory.

    + Maintain a working knowledge of NJCAA and Region XIV rules.

    + Assist with alumni relations and fundraising efforts for the baseball program and Athletic Department.

    + Plan, organize and conduct baseball camps and clinics.

    + Maintain accuracy of team statistics.

    + Perform baseball game day bat testing procedures.

    Athletic Facility Maintenance Manager | Baseball Field:

    + Maintain baseball playing surfaces.

    + Maintain organization and cleanliness of baseball facility to include the field, dugouts, press box, hitting cage, locker room and storage areas.

    + Manage live stream platform at the baseball field.

    Game Day / Event Liaison:

    + Assist Athletic Coordinator during assigned department game days/events as needed.

    + Assist with department game day operations as needed.

    + Assist with supervising team event and community service participation.
