Join our team at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority as a Professional Counselor and provide clinical assessment and treatment to clients in our inpatient, 24-hour residential facility. This facility is an ASAM Level III.5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity, residential substance use treatment program, located in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) plus two years of counseling experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As a Professional Counselor, you will be instrumental in providing clinical assessment and treatment of clients admitted to the inpatient residential substance use treatment facility. Your role will be to:
+ Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, screenings, treatment/counseling via individual/family/group therapies;
+ Provide discharge plans for patients and families, as needed;
+ Work on an interdisciplinary treatment team in order to provide thorough and comprehensive care;
+ Make recommendations for treatment plans and assist in formulating therapeutic activities;
+ Attend annual and PRN trainings and webinars to improve competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders

Compensation: The following rate is a Special Entrance Rate (SER) established for this agency in this job title.
+ Professional Counselor 4: $24.35/hour minimum - $40.53/hour maximum
