Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Electrician, where you will organize and facilitate the maintenance of production and facility equipment. You will be involved in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks.
Must Haves
+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Proficiency in working with conveyors, hydraulics, motors, pumps, and starters.
+ Experience with 3-phase, up to 480 motors.
+ Experience with welding machines.
+ 70% focus on electrical and 30% on mechanical tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Organize and facilitate maintenance of production and facility equipment.
+ Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
+ Use electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting.
+ Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.
+ Install, modify, and fabricate equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.
+ Perform troubleshooting, repairing, and preventative maintenance on conveyors, hydraulics, starters, oils, motors, and pumps.
+ Engage in a wide range of tasks within the facility, from maintaining toilets to forklifts and other machinery/appliances.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse that can become very hot in the summer. The facility processes and bends metal and performs coil coatings. The maintenance team consists of 10 members, with a total of 50 people onsite. You will work closely with colleagues in a high-speed, older facility requiring strong problem-solving skills. The standard shift is 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, but flexibility is needed as hours may vary. The dress code includes steel-toe boots, jeans, work shirts, and other provided PPE. Company uniforms are provided once you become a direct hire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
