Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Service Technician to support commercial security systems across Beaufort County and surrounding areas. This role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. What You’ll Do

+ Service and troubleshoot access control systems (Lenel, Bosch, AMAG)

+ Maintain and repair CCTV systems (Milestone, DMP, Avigilon, Axis)

+ Support fire alarms, intrusion systems, and intercoms

+ Install and service electrified/non-electrified locks, card readers, cameras, and door hardware

+ Read schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage applications

+ Provide remote diagnostic support and maintain service documentation

+ Travel to client sites (primarily school systems) in Beaufort County, with occasional trips to Charleston or Savannah

What You Bring

+ 2–5 years of experience with access control and CCTV systems

+ Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical/electronic aptitude

+ Familiarity with fire alarms, intrusion systems, and low-voltage hardware

+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders up to 16’

+ High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

+ NICET Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)

+ Experience with systems like Genetec, DMP, AMAG, Milestone, Lenel

+ Customer service experience and strong communication skills

+ Understanding of Windows OS and IT network topology

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
