Accounts Payable Specialist – Operations Department

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm EST

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Operations team. This position supports vendor payment processes and ensures all financial entries are accurately recorded in our internal system of record. While payment execution is managed by our Corporate AP Team, this role plays a vital part in ensuring those transactions are properly reconciled and applied internally.

Key Responsibilities

+ Verify and apply AP vendor payments within internal systems

+ Perform reconciliations for accrual and suspense accounts according to accounting policies

+ Manage miscellaneous client charges and ensure proper allocation

+ Execute data entry tasks and perform non-complex reconciliations

+ Collaborate with operations to support financial accuracy and reporting

• Qualifications

+ Background in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting

+ Hands-on experience with vendor payments and reconciliation

+ Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy

+ Comfortable learning and using internal proprietary systems

+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.54 - $19.54/hr.
