We are seeking a skilled and compassionate **Occupational Therapist – Hand Specialist** to join our team in Fond du Lac, WI. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician with a passion for upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Details:

+ **Schedule:** Part-time | Day Shift | 16 hours per week _(Specific schedule to be determined based on department needs)_

+ **Starting Pay:** $41.45+/hour _(Offers are based on years of experience and internal equity for this role)_

What We’re Looking For:

+ Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Wisconsin

+ Specialized experience or certification in hand therapy preferred

+ Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

+ Excellent communication and documentation skills

Job Summary:

Performs initial evaluations, develops treatment plans and sets appropriate goals to assist patients in achieving their maximum functional level.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Administers and evaluates tests of musculoskeletal, neurological and physiological responses to determine functioning.

+ Develops appropriate treatment plans based on an patient evaluation.

+ Designs and fabricates orthotics and adaptive equipment. Initiates and performs treatments through the use of exercise, manual therapy, physical agents and rehabilitation.

+ Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.

+ Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

+ Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, or related area as required to obtain licensure in state of practice

EXPERIENCE

+ Three years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

+ Constant standing.

+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.

+ Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

+ Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).

+ Frequent walking, reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.

+ Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

+ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

+ Occasional lifting/moving patients.

+ Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.

+ Occasional driving.

+ Rare crawling.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
