    Financial Billing Analyst II

     

    What does a successful Financial Billing Analyst II do?

     

    At Fiserv, the Financial Billing Analyst II significantly contributes to the revenue cycle through collaboration and attention to detail. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate client billing for a line of business. We seek an energetic, engaging, and insightful professional who will actively participate in billing processes, ensuring precision and timeliness in every invoice. With strong analytical skills and technical capability, the Analyst will enhance data management and drive process improvements, working within a team to achieve goals.

    What you will do:

    + Assume ownership of billing processes for an assigned book of business, including contract analysis, data preparation, billing, and variance trending.

    + Accumulate source data from multiple sources, perform data consolidation, and data cleaning.

    + Review and analyze complex and multi-business unit client contracts for proper billing setup; collaborate with account management and product teams to ensure clients are billed accurately.

    + Review processes to drive continuous improvement, leverage automation tools and best practices.

    + Act as a liaison with clients and other departments, divisions, and organizations to research and resolve client inquiries and issues.

    + Use strong analytical skills to solve problems and make decisions based on limited precedents or guidelines.

    What you will need to have:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics and/or equivalent military experience.

    + 1+ years of experience in billing, financial analysis, or accounting.

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Z-Lookup, V-Look up and Pivot Tables) and other Microsoft Windows applications.

    What would be great to have:

    + Experience with large ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.

    + Experience with data analysis and interpretation.

    + Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate, or Power BI.

    Important information about this role:

    + This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.

    + In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

    + This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
