Job Summary

The Executive Director, International and Global Business Strategy, is a highly strategic role that will drive the regional commercial strategy as the global brand liaison and steward and will oversee all commercial aspects for the Brand's account with Blush Bar and Mecca.

The Executive Director will facilitate cross-functional collaboration between the regions and global marketing, product marketing, social-media, education, etc., ensuring they are equipped with resources to meet their goals. This position also provides an opportunity to help create and impact our brand strategy, helping to develop and refine the brand’s strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

+ Aligning Heads of Regions with global brand strategies and arbitrating areas of discussion

+ Monitoring strategic development and execution of sales-related activities in regions to meet agreed-on objectives

+ Responsible for driving global priorities in the international regions (EMEA, UK, Mecca & LATAM) and escalating regional asks and nuances to the appropriate global teams

+ Accountable for directly managed retailers Mecca & Blush Bar, with P&L responsibility

+ Ensure international priorities are taken into consideration during marketing planning discussions

+ Ensure global operations take into consideration international requirements (e.g., supply chain and inventory management)

+ Responsible for annual Regional Round Table and monthly/quarterly business reviews with Global and Regional leadership

+ Directly manage team of international resources

+ Help global teams’ operational skills to enable the flow through of global strategy to execution.

+ Operationalize and drive accountability for thorough performance management framework and processes including metrics and scorecards by focusing on key strategic drivers.

Qualifications

+ Substantial experience in marketing

+ Strong experience building and shaping brand/marketing strategy

+ Forward⁃thinking candidate with experience ideating and innovating for brands

+ Knowledge of key marketing touchpoints (Social Media, Digital, PR)

+ Preferable experience in a 360 agency or evident broad knowledge from in⁃house brand

+ In⁃depth understanding of the competitive landscape across the lifestyle & luxury fragrance sector

+ Organisation skills

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation

+ Strong communicator, able to simplify and explain complex plans and strategic thinking with a resourceful and driven attitude

+ Able to influence, collaborate and engage at all levels

+ Robust communications planning skills across owned, earned, shared and paid media

+ Well organised with strong attention to detail Analytical

+ Numerate and able to understand, interpret and use complex and varied sources of data and statistics

+ Analytical and data skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Suite (especially PowerPoint)

+ Education: Undergraduate degree preferable, however candidates with strong evidence of experience, performance & knowledge will be considered
