Internal Communications Manager, S&P Dow Jones Indices
**The Team:** You will be a part of a best-in-class global team where you will flex and provide support where needed.
**The Candidate:** You will be a master tactician with hyper-vigilant attention to detail, and will have the ability to manage and complete complex communications plans. You will also have experience using and overseeing internal communications channels and platforms. We are seeking an excellent writer and storyteller who can operate in a fast-paced environment to develop effective, executive-ready content and act as a trusted communication partner. You will also be fluent in using AI and be dedicated to integrating it into all of your workflows.

This position serves one of the divisions of S&P Global - **S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI)** is the world’s largest, global resource for index-based concepts, data and research. _What's In It For You?_
This role will work closely with the Global Head of Communications, S&P Dow Jones Indices and the wider communications team to help enact the S&P Dow Jones Indices internal communications strategy. You will help the S&P DJI communications team and our stakeholders create, execute, and manage internal communication strategies and channels while highlighting our culture, promoting our values, and enhancing internal understanding of our division’s strategy.
Responsibilities:
+ Help execute internal communications that align with S&P DJI’s internal messaging and tone, including business and cultural priorities, and ensure they are consistent with the enterprise.
+ Write, write, and write some more! You will be one of the key writers on our team; you will draft communications on behalf of our leaders, write stories for our intranet, edit our monthly newsletter, and help execute on communications plans for key initiatives and major internal milestones.
+ Plan and prepare effective, thoughtful, and engaging communication that educate, inform, connect, and inspire employees.
+ Operate tools such as Workshop, Unily and Canva and continuously explore new tools and platforms that help enhance our internal communications processes.
+ Work closely with the team to advise and support multiple division stakeholders on their communications activities around their internal visibility and their business priorities.
+ Partner with fellow team members and stakeholders to develop communications plans, plan fireside chats, roundtables, FAQs, and key messages.
+ Work with a global mindset that is educated and sensitive to geographic and cultural differences.
+ Be a proactive team player that is able to take broad concepts and minimal direction to create dynamic and engaging communications plans.
+ Be agile, collaborative, transparent and assume positive intent across the team and internal stakeholders.
**Compensation/Benefits Information:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,817 to $126,301.25. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Communications, Journalism, English or related fields.
+ 4-year college degree in communications, journalism, writing or marketing.
+ 3-5 years of internship or professional work experience.
+ 3-5 years’ experience working in a corporate environment or Corporate Communications department; project management skills helpful.
+ Understanding of the global financial markets and a willingness to learn and understand the S&P DJI’s business.
+ Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong relationship-building skills.
+ You can communicate with a range of stakeholders in a respectful and thoughtful manner, and you don’t shy away from challenges.
+ Ability to work within a team across multiple time zones and on tight deadlines.
+ Ability to follow directions, escalate challenges, and produce a finished project that meets or exceeds expectations.
+ Out-of-box thinking for determining the best channel to use for any kind of messaging – keen eye on developing new channels as needed.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
+ Understanding of Microsoft Office suite is a must.
+ Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills.
+ Detail-oriented.
+ Highly proficient in digital literacy.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of basic CMS and social media is a plus.
+ Knowledge of basic graphic design is a plus.
+ Experience working in Financial Services is a plus.
