Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for extracting crude materials such as barite and bentonite from mines. The Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy and mobile equipment used in mining operations, monitors performance and performs maintenance and troubleshooting in the mine environment, as required.
+ Operate heavy machinery essential for the jigging and production of barite. in a safe, efficient and compliant manner. Report deviations to mine management.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area.
+ Communicate with coworkers and management.
+ Ensure equipment is maintained in optimal condition using preventative maintenance systems.
+ Participate in continuous improvement efforts with specialized equipment handling skills.
Candidate should have previous experience as Heavy Equipment Operator - at least 4 years
