**Mantech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Information Engineer** to join our team in the **National Capital Region (NCR).** This is a hybrid position.

As a Senior Information Engineer, this individual will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data solutions for the government client's desktop services. Their expertise will ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of critical information, directly supporting federal agency operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Lead the design, development, and implementation of information systems and data architectures for government desktop services.

+ Analyze complex information requirements and propose effective data management solutions.

+ Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with government regulations.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate information systems and enhance data accessibility.

+ Provide expert guidance on information engineering best practices and emerging technologies.

+ Applies business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects.

+ Applies activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ BA/BS

+ 7+ years of experience

+ Extensive experience in information architecture, database design, and data governance within a government setting.

+ Strong understanding of data security principles and compliance standards.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead information engineering projects and mentor team members.

+ Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional - CDMP).

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficiency with various data modeling tools and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).

+ ITIL Foundation certification.

Clearance Requirements:

+ Must possess active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a DHS Suitability

Physical Requirements:

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
