Required Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or
+ Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience or
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant experience.
Relevant Work Experience
+ Basic knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS) principles. Required
+ Candidate should exercise independent judgment and render sound business and policy decisions. Required
+ Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible and be able to handle multiple tasks, changing priorities, and achieve critical deadlines. Required
+ Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required in order to effectively interact with regulatory agencies, regional operations. Required
+ Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Required
+ Two to three years of project/program management or operational work experience. Preferred
+ Two to three years of experience performing data analytics and/or compliance. Preferred
+ Basic understanding of the operation of energy commodity systems (e.g., electric overhead and/or underground distribution systems, steam, gas, substations and transmission operations). Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
+ Driver's License Required
+ Driver's License Required and
+ Other: Training in ICS Basic (ICS-100), ICS-700, Advanced ICS (ICS-200), ICS-300, FEMA IS-120 and IS-130 must be satisfactorily completed within 1 year of hire. 1 Year Required
Additional Physical Demands
+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
+ Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift.
+ Must stoop, bend, reach and kneel throughout the workday.
+ Must have a valid drivers license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
+ Must be able and willing to work/travel to various Company locations and to the field as needed in all weather conditions.
+ Ability to work outside in all types of weather and will be required to participate in off-hour emergency response activities, including weekends and holidays.
+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
+ Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
