    Ball-Chatham is seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our existing Titan Talent as a School Safety Officer at Ball Elementary School!

    Temporary full-time

    Starting Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

    WHAT DO SCHOOL SAFETY OFFICERS DO?

     

    + To promote a safe and secure learning and working environments for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

    + Responsible for monitoring behavior and well-being of K-12 students

    + Handling security issues in the assigned building and/or other district buildings if needed.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    + Law enforcement officer (retired or inactive) who possesses legal authority to carry a firearm, as permitted by district administration, state and federal law, and qualification/indemnification criteria established by local and state law enforcement agencies

    + High School graduate or GED equivalent.

    + Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal background check.
