PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
This is a non-exempt, hourly position that primarily involves direct customer service and tipped work.
+ Lead by example, demonstrating positivity and maintaining clear communication with the entire team through active participation in all front-of-house service duties.
+ Provide lead support during shifts, including coordinating tasks and ensuring smooth operations. Responsible for performing opening and closing duties.
+ Deliver outstanding customer service, actively addressing customer needs and resolving
any issues or complaints with efficiency and professionalism.
+ Support and assist team members to surpass customer expectations, promoting swift and
friendly service in a clean and inviting environment.
+ Actively support and work alongside the front-of-house team, including running food, bussing tables, preparing beverages at stations (e.g., smoothie, barista), and covering breaks for other service team members.
+ Ensure compliance with all food safety laws and sanitation regulations and standards.
+ Uphold company policies, as well as health, safety, and employment standards.
+ Assist with new team member training.
+ Escalate employee requests and concerns to management including employee attendance, punctuality, and policy violations. This role does not have independent authority to resolve disciplinary or policy violation issues.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment (i.e.
restaurant, hotel, etc.)
High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in management or leadership in a hospitality environment
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required.
Experience with guest services management and demonstrates leadership abilities.
Flexibility to work opening shifts, closing shifts and weekends.
Must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to use electronic systems, such as computers and tablets
Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.

$23-$25/hour + TIPS
