Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Digital, Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group, Warfare Effectiveness Department, and Enhanced Securities Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will be responsible for expert level Enhanced Security Officer (GSSO and/or SSR) support to complex, multi-level (including Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)) security special programs. You will oversee and provide continuity of Program level security for facility, personnel, document control, equipment, and visitor control in complex multi-level security environments. You will ensure that all documentation, data and technology is protected in accordance with pertinent law, policy, guidance, and authorities. You will administer program security activity including interviews, indoctrinations, debriefings, inspections, policy enforcement, and routine guidance to program individuals. You will serve as an expert consultant to higher management within Navy, DOD, other services and industry on all matters pertaining to the branch's products. You will develop training and other mechanisms for ensuring both the security workforce and the customer base are enabled to keep our nation’s program information secure. You will assign work to be consistent with branch, division, and department staffing, resources, priorities and objectives. You will implement changes to staffing, objectives, and priorities as appropriate and ensure that Division personnel have been properly trained to conduct business without routine review or delay by organizational supervisors and managers. You will arrange and lead meetings, workshops, briefings, integrated working groups from multiple specialties. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13/14) grade level or (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert consultation to higher management within several services and industries on multi-level security matters;2) Working across multiple levels of internal and external organizations in assessing requirements and establishing plans to meet emerging SAP and SCI security needs;3) Operating in both SCI and SAP security environments;4) Managing a workforce through direct supervision, workload planning, employee development, and make/buy decisions;5) Collaborating with others to develop and execute strategic plans; and6) Preparing, reviewing, evaluating, and recommending technology program protection plans and approaches to ensure adequate security protection is provided in accordance with all program requirements.
