    We are seeking an experienced and strategic **Director of Project Management** to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of high-impact capital and operational projects across two manufacturing plants. This role will be responsible for managing a capital and operational spend of $50–$70 million annually, ensuring that all projects align with corporate strategy, are delivered on time and within budget, and drive measurable business value.

     

    The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong financial acumen, cross-functional leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic projects, from initiation through execution and closeout, across two manufacturing facilities.

    + Develop and manage the annual capital and operational project portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial targets.

    + Oversee project management and serve as the primary liaison between plant leadership, engineering, finance, supply chain, and executive leadership.

    + Implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and governance processes to improve project delivery and accountability.

    + Monitor project performance through KPIs, financial metrics, timelines, and risk assessments, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.

    + Collaborate with Finance to manage and report on capital and operational budgets ($50M–$70M annually).

    + Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

    + Lead change management and communication efforts to support smooth implementation of project initiatives.

    + Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership in identifying, prioritizing, and evaluating new strategic investment opportunities.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.

    + A minimum of 10 years of related work experience is required.

    + Proven experience managing large capital budgets.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects to completion.

    + Deep understanding of project management tools.

    + Strong financial acumen, including budget planning, forecasting, and ROI analysis.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

    + Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, **Jacksonville, Florida** .
