Team Lead, Clean Sweep

UPMC is hiring a for a part-time Clean Sweep position under Western Behavioral Health at Mon Yough in McKeesport, PA.
The Clean Sweep Program provides opportunities for 20 + adults with intellectual disabilities to clean state facilities (Air Force Base, Liquor Control Board, and Department of Public Welfare buildings), and company office spaces. We provide a well structured and supportive environment with the focus on assisting individuals in learning the skills necessary to be competitive in community employment.
The Team Lead’s purpose is to train and supervise individuals in work behaviors and janitorial skills at a variety of sites, assisting in the completion of janitorial duties while preparing them for potential placement in an integrated community setting, including 1:1 supports as necessary. This position will work Monday through Friday 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
+ **Communication & Reporting:** Promptly inform the supervisor of concerns, needs, or unusual events. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily/monthly progress reports.
+ **Program Implementation:** Creatively implement ISP (Individual Support Plan) goals tailored to each consumer’s needs.
+ **Compliance & Policy Adherence:** Follow all agency policies, state regulations, and compliance plans.
+ **Transportation & Supervision:** Transport and supervise program participants at job sites, ensuring safety and adherence to ISP guidelines.
+ **Training & Evaluation:** Provide hands-on janitorial skills training, conduct assessments, and assist with time studies.
+ **Customer Service & Teamwork:** Maintain professional, courteous relationships with all stakeholders, aiming to exceed expectations.
+ **Cleaning Duties:** Assist with cleaning tasks to meet contract standards, including routine floor care.
+ **Professional Development:** Attend at least 24 hours of approved training annually and stay informed on new ideas and practices.
+ High School Diploma/GED and 2 years related experience.
+ Previous janitorial experience is a must.
+ Required to be able to lift 20 pounds unassisted and more than 20 pounds assisted.
+ Must complete application to request clearance from Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Background Investigation.
+ Must be able to respond to crisis situations with quick physical responsiveness i.e. running, providing physical support/intervention
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 73 if they have lived outside of PA in the past 2 years
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
+ Driver's License
+ Act 34
