Position:
The role of the Shipping and Receiving Lead is to oversee shipping and receiving operations.

The Primary Functions are:
+ Organizing warehouse team members in a manner to optimize pick-ups, deliveries and orders.
+ Manages and controls the physical condition of the warehouse and delivery equipment, facilities, grounds, etc.
+ Move inventory and materials across facilities. Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to proper location on Resort property.
+ Research inventory discrepancies utilizing shipping documents.
+ Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and productivity.
+ Work in conjunction with resort departments to prioritize warehouse tasks and share resources.
+ Ensure that all products are properly received and put away in their proper location for inventory management and order fulfillment.
+ Ensure On Property Requisition Center inventory is received, organized, and accounted for.
+ Fulfillment of On Property Requisition Center orders.
+ Complete town run when needed.
+ Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
+ Operate trailer by loading, unloading, and striping a load down.
+ Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure information is delivered efficiently.
+ Maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities.
+ Keep the Purchasing Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.
+ Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of Warehouse team members; actively promote, train, coach, and recognize performance.
+ Complete all Warehouse projects as assigned.
+ Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.
+ Maintain flexible hours to accommodate guest and special event needs, due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; Position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed.
Looking for Team Members with:
+ High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work, preferred college degree
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a leader
+ Proven ability to lead and manage a team
+ Ability to skillfully operate powered material handling equipment, preferred
+ Physical ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds and to stand/walk for 6+ hours each day
+ Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
+ Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands
+ Valid State Driver’s License
