The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a part-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 / hour

What will you do?

+ Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods.

+ Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks.

+ Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds.

+ Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition.

+ Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies.

+ Perform maintenance duties in guest rooms and throughout the hotel.

+ Assist with banquet set up and tear down.

+ Air conditioning and ice machine cleaning and filter changes.

More about you

+ Must be at least 21 years old to apply.

+ Minimum of 1 year previous experience in general maintenance/repair preferred.

+ Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred.

Physical requirements

+ Requires bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling.

+ Standing and walking 100% of the time.

+ Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.
