**Job Description** :
Summary
We are a 3rd Party Provider supporting a leading CPG customer with their end-to-end transportation needs. We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Transportation Analyst to join our onsite team, focused on managing returns and OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages). This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate resolution of return shipments and exception cases by partnering closely with the customer, carriers, and internal business partners teams. The position will require both customer and carrier interfacing and capable of representing Ryder in front of the customer.
Essential Functions
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all returns and OS&D-related transportation issues.
+ Manage the full lifecycle of return shipments – from creation through to resolution – ensuring documentation and processes are followed.
+ Collaborate with carriers and customers to resolve discrepancies and secure proof of delivery, return authorizations, and supporting documentation.
+ Track and follow up on open returns and claims; escalate issues when appropriate.
+ Maintain detailed records of all return and OS&D activities for audit and reporting purposes.
+ Provide timely updates and communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the returns process and reduce recurring issues.
+ Assist with identifying trends or recurring issues that may signal systemic problems or opportunities for process improvement

+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
+ 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or transportation-related fields (preferred, but not required).
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and a high sense of ownership.
+ Intellectual curiosity with a proactive mindset toward problem solving.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general comfort working with transportation management systems (TMS) or ERP systems.
+ Possesses a high degree of initiative
+ MS Office (Proficiency in Excel, Power BI)
+ Customer-first mindset with the ability to build relationships and follow up effectively.
+ Experience with OS&D processes or claims management in a logistics setting.
+ Exposure to working with CPG or retail customers.
+ Familiarity with carrier coordination or freight operations.
Qualifications
+ College degree/Technical Certification required in Business, Logistics, Transportation. A combination of other education and experiences will be considered.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Transportation.
+ Two (2) years or more of industry related experience required
+ Two (2) years or more experience in custom and flow of freight as well as Transportation Management required

**Compensation Information** :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
