    At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families, as well as those with developmental disabilities, through high-quality community-based services.

     

    As a Residence Manager, you will play a crucial role in the lives of the individuals we support.

    Responsibilities:

    + Maintain the confidentiality of each resident and their records.

    + Ensure participant assistance in researching and obtaining community resources appropriate and applicable to their wants, needs, and goals.

    + Ensure attendance and advocacy as needed at medical appointments and follow-up on aftercare/recommendations for medical/clinical treatment. Accompany residents, as needed, on medical appointments.

    + Lead and facilitate the person-centered planning team to identify and address the needs of the residents and train and support the DSP team to implement plans of care.

    + Work schedules and locations are subject to change based on resident and program needs. This position is an in-person, on-site position (not remote or hybrid).

    + This does not limit the assignment of duties or exclude the performance of other duties not mentioned, as assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor's Degree in a human service field preferred, and at least three years related experience, including one year of supervisory experience required.

    Additional Requirements:

    + Valid New York State Driver's License required and acceptable driving record as issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

    + Must be proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
