About the Role:

Join our Xfinity Order Management System (XOMS) team as a Software Development Engineer. You will design and build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, contribute to CI/CD automation with Jenkins, and leverage observability tools to ensure system reliability. We value not only technical expertise but also strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do:

+ Develop, maintain, and optimize Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

+ Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Jenkins.

+ Integrate and utilize observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, AppDynamics) for monitoring and troubleshooting.

+ Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

+ Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.

+ Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

+ Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

+ 2+ years of experience in Java development.

+ Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

+ Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Jenkins.

+ Experience with observability and monitoring tools.

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

+ Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

+ Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

+ Knowledge of security best practices and automated testing frameworks.
