As the Senior Manager, Social Media Content & Community, you’ll help lead how millions of members experience our brand online, with a focus on our exclusive Member’s Mark line.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape our most visible marketing channel, translating brand territories into compelling, social-first narratives that drive both engagement and business results. Your work will directly support Sam’s Club’s ambitious growth goals by turning awareness into action and building a community that’s as passionate as we are. What you'll do...
+ **Lead content strategy** for Member’s Mark across social platforms, turning brand territories into breakthrough creative that drives engagement and conversion.
+ **Inspire and manage** a high-performing community management team, setting the standard for authentic, responsive, and differentiated member engagement.
+ **Translate business goals** into clear, actionable creative direction for internal teams and agency partners—ensuring every campaign delivers measurable impact.
+ **Oversee campaign development** from brief through execution, guiding agencies to deliver bold, brand-elevating work.
+ **Champion innovation** , using our challenger brand mindset to punch above our weight and grow our share of voice in the social landscape.
+ **Integrate paid and organic strategies** , creating a cohesive content ecosystem that maximizes reach, efficiency, and effectiveness.
+ **Mentor and grow talent** , developing the next generation of social media leaders within the organization.
+ **Evolve our strategy** in partnership with the Director of Social as platforms and member behaviors shift—ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
+ **Support measurement frameworks** that demonstrate how social drives consideration, purchase intent, and long-term brand value.
What You'll Do:
+ 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, content development, or digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
+ Proven success developing content strategies that drive both brand metrics and business results
+ Experience leading community management teams and establishing best practices for engagement
+ Strong portfolio of social-first campaigns that demonstrate creative thinking and platform expertise
+ Deep understanding of how paid and organic social work together to create holistic customer journeys
+ Experience translating brand strategies into platform-specific content approaches
+ Track record of successful agency management and the ability to provide clear creative direction
+ Excellent analytical skills with experience connecting social metrics to broader business outcomes
+ History of mentoring and developing team members into high performers

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
