Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a **Staff, Software Engineer, International Site Reliability Engineering** , at Walmart Global Tech, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building robust backend systems that power seamless digital experiences for millions of customers. You will work across multiple domains, contributing to the development of scalable services that are critical to Walmart’s digital platforms.

Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, Mexico and South Africa to name a few. ** **
What You'll Do:
• Design and develop applications for SRE operations using node.js/java/ Python, tech stack
• Automate repeatable tasks/jobs using CI/CD pipelines ( ex Jenkins )
• Experience with databases and messaging queues (MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, Kafka,
• ActiveMQ, Azure SQL DB, Meghacache, Solr).
• Implement and integrate cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models and algorithms to solve complex SRE problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
What you’ll bring:
• Proficiency in Node.js and Python development (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure (3+ years).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
