Position Summary...
Join Walmart as a Senior Director, Corporate Development & Integrations and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future through high-impact acquisitions, partnerships, strategic investments, and divestitures. Reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Development, you’ll lead transformational programs that drive value and deliver on Walmart’s most important strategic objectives. This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction of a Fortune 1 company while working alongside top leaders and cross-functional teams across the company.
About the Team
The Transaction Management Office (TMO) is a focused group within Corporate Development, responsible for operational integration and project management for M&A and partnership transactions. The team partners closely with deal sponsors and senior leaders to ensure seamless integration and separation, with the objective of maximizing value and mitigating enterprise risks. As a Senior Director, you’ll be at the center of Walmart’s most important strategic initiatives, directly impacting the company’s growth and operational excellence
What you'll do...
+ Lead all integration and separation efforts for acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, collaborating with functional experts across the organization.
+ Participate in early strategy formulation, M&A evaluations and due diligence, providing strategic input on integration/separation planning and risk assessment.
+ Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including workstream and functional tasks, to achieve targeted performance metrics and synergies.
+ Build consensus on integration and separation budgets, ensuring alignment with deal objectives and value delivery plans.
+ Serve as the single point of contact for key stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and managing relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
+ Establish and refine best practices for integration and separation projects, leveraging new technologies and contributing to process improvements.
What You’ll Bring
+ 10+ years of strategic project management experience, with a proven track record in M&A integration and separation.
+ Demonstrated leadership and influence management skills, with the ability to create alignment among executives and cross-functional teams.
+ Strategic thinker with expertise in mapping transaction objectives to detailed project strategies and value delivery plans.
+ Exceptional attention to detail, advanced analytical skills, and financial acumen to assess risks, forecast outcomes, and maximize returns.
+ Practical experience in communications and change management, with a passion for driving value through integration and separation activities.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to broad audiences and build consensus in sensitive situations.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
