Walmart is investing in transforming the Accounts Payable business by enhancing the user experience with the latest technology and we are looking for talented individuals who can use their engineering and leadership skills to help our teams solve complex problems. You will be part of the application development team leading software design and implementation, problem solving, leading consistency across our team in quality standards, ensuring our teams adhere to micro-service architecture principles, research and propose ingenuitive ideas that allows our teams to solve problems faster and provide engineering efficiency as they work with our customers to deliver world-class software solutions.
About Team:
Our team collaborates with Walmart International to solve AP problems for all Global markets. We have presence in NA, Canada, LATAM markets, and South Africa
What you'll do...
+ Build, develop and guide a team of high-performing talent.
+ Participate in technical design & reviews, PoCs.
+ Be accountable for the engineering practices in the team like technical design, CI-CD, code quality, planning & delivering features
+ Work with business stakeholders, architects, UX designers, product & program managers
+ Work with global teams to deliver industry leading capabilities
+ Able to identify & convey risks & issues to the leadership and help drive mitigate them.
+ Raise the bar for the team on technology with predictable & consistent deliveries
+ Good knowledge of Agile practices, Devops
+ Partner with infrastructure teams
+ Roll up sleeves and dive into the code when required
What you'll bring:
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
+ 5-7 years of experience mentoring and leading teams with overall 15+ years’ experience
+ Proven experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best-practices in SaaS/Online/Enterprise Product engineering organization
+ Excellent logical and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience in Distributed Systems Design for fault tolerance and high availability
+ Experience Message Queue based scalable async architecture
+ Experience in Multi-threading for speeding up computations on multi-core processors
+ Building for “as a service” model where components are multi-tenant, customizable and can be leveraged across Walmart’s business verticals
+ Must have experience in cloud-native distributed application patterns and tools, micro-services architectures and web application frameworks (React, Java, Spring Boot, EDI, Kafka, NoSQL DB’s), application migrations to any cloud platform.
+ Experience with CI/CD processes and design for high scale, availability, testability and extensibility.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
