    $163.030 - $210.361 - $257.692

     

    The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

    What You Will Do

    This position is accountable for planning, managing, and coordinating the supply chain operations of numerous multi-site, multi-functional areas across hospitals and community care locations. System areas include ordering, purchasing, contracting, receiving, distribution, sterile processing services, print shop/forms and GPO relationship management. This position is subject to functional policies and goals, and has discretion to establish plans and recommend policies and priorities, provided activities are consistent with system/entity strategic objectives, operating policies and precedents.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + Supply Chain work experience in an IDN environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Business Administration.

    + Experience with supplier rating/certification systems, supplier consolidation programs and supplier partnering.

    + Leadership in professional organizations.

    Essential Functions

    + Directs the strategic planning process for the Supply Chain across the system.

    + Determines direction, goals, and objectives for Supply Chain Services and coordinates implementation of system strategic and operating plans. Directs the development of short and long-range plans and budgets.

    + Develops and recommends overall system organizational policies and objectives within Supply Chain Services and achieves their implementation across the continuum of care.

    + Integrates all aspects of system operations of the Supply Chain.

    + Manages system contract services, supplier and GPO relationships to obtain maximum benefits.

    + Promotes organizational compliance with legislation and regulations as they impact Supply Chain.

    + Provides operations and logistics management including cost management, quality services delivery, employee and resource management to achieve total service delivery.

    + Directs diverse group of multi-level and multi-site employees across the system.

    + Achieves financial outcomes, targets, and goals for system efficiency.

    + Identifies areas for service, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.

    + Monitors total system supply costs and prepares variance analyses.

    + Determines and communicates benefits of system integration, standardization, and centralization to customers.

    + Serves as resource to customers for process improvement and business reengineering activities related to Supply Chain.

    + Demonstrates leadership in community/professional organizations.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    + This position requires seasoned professional skills and technical knowledge.

    + Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

    + Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and change is needed.

    + Ability to analyze and problem-solve at complex and global levels, as well as manage solutions at a detail level is necessary.

    + Supply chain reengineering and continuous process improvement experience preferred.

    + Supply chain systems implementation experience, including automating ordering, purchasing, receiving and accounts payable is preferred.

    + Excellent customer service skills are required.
