    The Sales Development Representative 1 (SDR) is responsible for qualifying inbound marketing qualified leads and creating new qualified sales opportunities in provided Target Accounts for their Enterprise Account Executives. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with Deluxe sales executives and external prospects, acting as the initial point of contact who coordinates and schedules demos and discovery appointments. The SDR is also responsible for the handling of the lead administration as it flows through the sales pipeline.

     

    + Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling, emailing and social media using technology tools to prioritize their outreach

    + Move leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a Sales Account Executive to achieve a meeting booked and opportunity created target

    + Respond and qualify inbound leads and inquiries from marketing efforts

    + M eet with Sales Account Executives to review campaign results, best practices, and outreach tactics on a regular basis

    + Support Marketing events by scheduling booth appointments for tradeshows, calling webinar attendees, following up on engagement with advertisements, etc.

    + Blueprint account details and key contacts that fit the ideal customer profile and buying committee for the solution you are supporting.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Education and Experience: Associates Degree and 1 year

    + Prior sales cold calling experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelors Degree

    Experience: 1 year of outbound calling experience

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Builds rapport with teammates/leadership

    + Take consultative approach with customers, ability to find qualified leads and build executable pipeline for sales partners

    + Takes accountability for their actions, progress and results

    + Previous work with Salesforce CRM or Marketing/Sales Automation tools

     

    Critical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

     

    Builds rapport with clients, team members and leadership

     

    Understands the client’s needs and offers a solution by matching product features and benefits to their pain points.

     

    Takes a consultative approach and puts customer’s needs first

     

    Is able to find leads and build a strong pipeline

     

    Takes accountability for their actions, progress and results

    Additional Basic Qualifications:

    Must be 18 years of age or older

    Compensation

    The compensation range for this position is $14.61 - $34.61 hourly. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
