Injection Molding Process Engineer (Direct Hire)

+ Support mold trials and help transition new tooling and models into production.

+ Investigate and resolve scrap, cycle time, and process variability issues.

+ Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

+ Participate in capital projects involving molding equipment and automation.

+ Assist with tooling reviews and design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software.

+ Identify and implement process changes that drive down cost and improve part quality

+ Oversee new tool start-up and qualification Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions

+ Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and operations as well as support the introduction of new molds, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering (plastics) is preferred but not required.

+ RJG Mold Master and/or Paulson Pro Molder certifications are preferred

+ Minimum of 3 years of plastic injection molding engineering experience
