Location Description Our plant, located in Lansing, IL, pasteurizes raw eggs to remove harmful bacteria for a more safe product to the foodservice industry. Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability. Ensures regulatory Compliance. This position is responsible for safely moving, recording, and tagging palletized product. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Check package quality (dirt, labels are applied, etc.) 2. Operate MR-60 robot 3. Troubleshoot MR-60 including relacing suction cups, adjust taper/rollers, clean filters. 4. Operate Lantech wrap machine including changing rolls of film. 5. Complete necessary documentation? 6. Make sure material is kept separated, neat and stored properly and labeled. 7. To follow all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines. 8. Perform lock out/tag out 9. Watch, correct and report safety issues. 10. Communicate issues to production management and maintenance. 11. Must be able to follow all of the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and safety procedures. 12. Must be able to follow all of the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures, “washing hands, etc.” throughout the day. 13. Must be able to follow all of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines. 14. Must be able to follow all of the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures). Must keep all of records updated. 15. Must be able to follow all of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) regulations and guidelines. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. 16. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: No prior experience or training. EXPERIENCE: LANGUAGE SKILLS: Not Applicable MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Not Applicable REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: PIT Certificate OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Specific skills and abilities required that are not included in other sections: The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
